BAM Dental Group (BAM) is a dental service organization headquartered in Metairie, LA. The organization was founded in 2019 by Dr. Darrell Bourg, Dr. Mickey Adragna and Dr. Jacob McInnis with the simple mission of allowing dentists to be dentists. We follow through with our mission by providing full administrative services to all supported practices so that they can focus on delivering a first-class dental experience to every patient.

Dr. Darrell Bourg is the founder and CEO of Exceptional Dental. In practice since 2001, Dr. Bourg passionately leads Exceptional Dental to deliver the highest quality dental care at an affordable price with an emphasis on implant dentistry and all related implant therapy treatment. Dr. Bourg is a high school graduate of Archbishop Shaw High School in 1990. He obtained a Dual Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry and Biology with a minor concentration in Psychology and Philosophy from the University of New Orleans. He received his Doctorate in 2001 from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry and also a 2017 graduate of the Medical College of Georgia’s Comprehensive Training Program in Implant Dentistry. Dr. Bourg received advanced training at The Implant Learning Center in Chicago, The California Implant Institute in San Diego, The Sclar Center in Miami, and at The University of San Salvador with Dr. Samuel Lee.
Dr. Bourg is a member of NODA, LDA, ADA, AGD, AAID, and AACD. He is also a member if Westwego Rotary Club and a Fellow of International College of Oral Implantologist (FICOI). In 2013, Dr. Bourg became the president of the New Orleans Dental Association. He is also a current gratis professor in the Department of Fixed Prosthodontics at LSU dental school.

General Dentist/Associate Fellow of AAID
Dr. Michael Adragna is a New Orleans native who has been in practice since 2013. He graduated from Archbishop Rummel High School and then earned his B.S. in Biological Sciences at Louisiana State University, where he was a member of Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans. In 2018 Dr. Adragna was inducted into the American Academy of Implant Dentistry as an Associate Fellow and the International Congress of Oral Implantology as a Fellow.

General Dentist/ Associate Fellow of AAID
Dr. Jacob McInnis, a Baton Rouge native, graduated from LSU Dental School in 2012 and has been dedicated to the practice of implant dentistry ever since. He is an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Committed to continuous education, Dr. McInnis pursues further training each year to enhance his skills. His primary goal is to provide patients with a sense of comfort and control in the dental chair. By utilizing sedation dentistry, he strives to help patients feel at ease and overcome any dental phobias, creating a painless and supportive environment.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. McInnis enjoys spending time with his wife and five children. He loves outdoor activities, including hunting and fishing, and is a passionate fan of LSU and Saints football.

Dr. Guirges obtained his Bachelor’s in dentistry from The Faculty of Dentistry, Alexandria University, Egypt in 2009. Afterward, he pursued a master’s degree in periodontics and joined the residency program at CWRU.
Recognizing the importance of sound prosthetic principles in surgical practice, Dr. Guirges commenced the fellowship program at Louisiana State University in New Orleans, Louisiana. Throughout the fellowship, Dr. Guirges focused his efforts on gaining experience in dental implant prosthodontics and managing complex restorative cases. Teaching is a passion for Dr. Guirges. He has lectured nationally and internationally on topics that include; Hard and soft tissue augmentation around implants, immediate implant placement techniques, and periodontal plastic surgery.
During his spare time, he enjoys volunteering, football, and spending time with his family.
